Brooks has a son who suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of
autism. He is working on a children’s book that will be addressed to
siblings of children with Aspergers. Additionally, Mr. Brooks is working
on an adult book that will outline his own experiences in raising a child
with this disorder.
Mr. Brooks also has a number of other children’s books that are in the
final preparation stages, to include a wonderful piece titled, Do You
Believe in Unicorns? This work explores the magic of the relationship
between a mother and her daughter. Anticipated release date is April
2006.
